Description Allan Day 2013-10-14 14:37:23 UTC
GNOME 3 already has web apps, which are provided by Epiphany and WebKitGTK+. Right now, you need to use Epiphany to add / remove web apps. It would obviously make a lot of sense to have this functionality in Software, and to make web applications 1st class citizens.

To do this:

 * Predefined web applications should be included in the categories just like regular applications.

 * Installing web apps would appear the same as when any other application is installed.

 * Installed web apps would be listed in the Installed view, so you can remove them.

 * It would still be possible to add custom web apps from Epiphany (these should also show up in Software).
