When application/category folders in Applications View are empty, they are still displayed.

Clicking on the empty folder causes other icons to dim (which is normal) but stay dimmed even if an application is opened. 
No box/popup is drawn until another folder is opened. In which case both are drawn, one of course being empty. This one has no effect on the positioning of other icons.

Would it not seem better if the ampty folder were just excluded from the Overview?
Not sure how that impacts the schema or the use their of.

Confirmed with gnome-shell 3.13.92-1 on Fedora 21.
