GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 709777
[GES] Can't play videos with PCM (raw) audio
Last modified: 2013-10-10 03:12:16 UTC
I tried to use a video file from my compact camera (Panasonic DMC-FX10) in a Pitivi project. I can import it and preview it successully, but when dropped into the timeline, it makes playback impossible - and produces those errors: http://pastebin.archlinux.fr/471451
It looks like the issue is related to the audio codec used in the file; MediaInfo tells me that it is "PCM (Little/Unsigned)".
Here's the aforementioned video clip: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bx-uBlwVWXVEV3d1Vk1UZUxHVUE/edit?usp=sharing
I can play it without any issues in any GStreamer-based app, including previous versions of Pitivi.
