Description Ryan Lerch 2013-10-07 17:45:55 UTC
I have a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, and the new device battery reporting in 3.10 / Fedora 20 appears to be a little bit flaky.

Sometimes it reports 0 or 1% in the power page in gnome settings. other times it is reporting (what i am assuming is the correct battery level) of 80%.

it seems to flip back and forth between these two values, as a notification presents informing me i have low power in the mouse, and the icon in the system tray changes (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709572)

This is a bug in upower.
Comment 2 Ryan Lerch 2013-10-07 19:29:36 UTC
Do you know what specific bug this is in upower? Should I file one there? or is it a known issue?

Logitech unifying device battery reporting bugs. Read the thread(s) about HID++ devices on devkit-devel. We're just missing a release.
