GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 709490
ICQ account disappears from Online Accounts after relogin
Last modified: 2017-01-06 17:47:40 UTC
ICQ account added throught Online Accounts disappears from there after relogin. It still avaible for Empathy, but it doesn't show in Online Accounts list. Other chat-only accounts, like IRC account added a long time ago throught empathy-accounts, always appear in account list.
Can you please run it from terminal and attach the logs? If you don't want your personal account IDs made public here you can edit it or just email it to me directly to marco@barisione.org. goa-daemon is installed in different locations in different distros. If you are running Debian (or similars) the command you need is: /usr/lib/gnome-online-accounts/goa-daemon --replace 2>&1 > goa.log If you are running Fedora or similar the command should be: /usr/libexec/goa-daemon --replace 2>&1 > goa.log When you are done just press CTRL-C and attach the goa.log file. Thank you!
After executing that command I got message about /usr/lib/telepathy/mission-control-5 crashed. I'm not sure this is related to this bug, but i can attach backtrace if it needed. When I launched Online Accounts to check if something changed I saw that IRC account disappeared too.
