Description Vincent Untz 2013-10-02 17:53:01 UTC
Some of my albums are not known online and only have a jpg file in the folder. I tried naming it cover.jpg, or anything else, but gnome-music doesn't use it :/

There's some recommendation to handle this in https://wiki.gnome.org/MediaArtStorageSpec
Comment 1 Arnel Borja 2013-10-06 09:58:43 UTC
Indeed, we have missed some of the lines in the last section of the spec. However, gnome-music will be soon be ported to libmediaart (the spec implementation of tracker moving out to a separate library), so we won't fix it inside gnome-music but rather in libmediaart. I don't think tracker nor libmediaart currently support this either.

I'll move this to libmediaart once its module is ready in bugzilla.
Comment 2 Martyn Russell 2013-11-01 12:24:33 UTC
There is a libmediaaart product in bugzilla now and a 0.1.0 release has just been made :)
Comment 3 Arnel Borja 2014-04-15 16:34:23 UTC
We have just merged the libmediaart branch to master. Could you please try building gnome-music from git master or use the package here if you're using Fedora 20? http://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/arnelborja/gnome-music-git/

You may reopen the bug if it's not yet fixed, or make a bug report to libmediaart instead if the problem is in the library.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
