Description Bastien Nocera 2013-09-29 10:29:13 UTC
Gray on black, pretty unreadable.
Comment 1 Pierre-Yves Luyten 2013-10-02 13:34:09 UTC
Can you precise gtk+ version?
Comment 2 Pierre-Yves Luyten 2013-10-18 22:27:30 UTC
Actually when using gnome-documents I'm facing the same issue. List view has a black background when the application has focus. Has soon has focus is lost, background is fine again.

Assigning to libgd but I did not investigate further yet.
Comment 3 Pierre-Yves Luyten 2013-10-18 22:28:03 UTC
sorry, *as soon as*
Comment 4 Meg Ford 2013-10-18 22:58:10 UTC
I also have this issue.
Comment 5 Pierre-Yves Luyten 2013-10-28 22:49:35 UTC
The wrong background issue does not concern the row which has the focus. Nor does it occur with HighContrast theme.

Comment 8 Debarshi Ray 2013-12-03 13:33:36 UTC
After a bit of debugging it appears to be related to the "content-view" style class:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/libgd/tree/libgd/gd-main-view.c#n931

Since that part of libgd has not changed recently, it might be a GTK+ or theme problem.

Reproducer

Note that the bug only manifests itself when the list is long enough for the scrollbars to show up.
Comment 10 Debarshi Ray 2013-12-03 14:35:19 UTC
Reassigning to gtk+ because this is obviously not in libgd.

For all the people too lazy to compile the testcase. :)
