GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 708919
Swedish translation of "Timer" to "Tidtagning"
Last modified: 2013-11-07 21:40:08 UTC
Translating "Timer" as "Tidtagning" is a bit hard to understand. It sounds more like "Stopwatch". Maybe "Äggklocka" would be better?
Thank you, for the bug report, however, this is the wrong place to report translation issues this is the right place: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=l10n&component=Swedish%20[sv] google translater suggests for timer: timer, tidur, tidrelä I try to reassign, can someone help me, if I fail? :-)
This bug report came originally from gnome-clocks.
"Äggklocka" isn't exactly literal, but I agree it is easier to understand. I'll try to change it.
The update is now committed: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-clocks/commit/?id=ab2092f0083fd1301b80ee0c6ed69a6825f123fa
