Mmm...libarchive is also in OpenEmbedded.  I guess it doesn't hurt to have it here.  I tend to go back and forth on whether this stuff should live in OpenEmbedded or in the manifest.

But it looks like it's also in git, so I'd strongly prefer to pull that rather than tarballs.  I can look at a patch for that.
