With the gimp featured, the window currently gets too wide to be maximized on my screen. We should improve the size allocation of the featured tile to allow the text to move into the left half in this case. The best way to do this will take some experimentation, but I guess splitting the natural size 50/50 while still keeping the minimal size uneven might do it.

Alternatively, we can let the text wrap
