Description richkrys 2002-02-07 05:13:14 UTC
Package: panel
Version: 1.4.0.4
Severity:

>Synopsis: The panel crashes when I log in
>Class: sw-bug
System: Athlon Tbird running RedHat7.2, clean install (everything) Sawfish Window Manager

>Description:
Logging in for the first time after installing RedHat 72 (everything) I receive an error dialog that says :

"Application "panel" (proces 5736) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Segmentation fault)
Subsequent logins don't crash, but don't
show a panel either.
So I have to run GNOME without a panel.

>How-To-Repeat:
Per suggestion in GNOME help manual, I logged out, and logged back in again, holding CTRL SHIFT keys to replace GNOME configuration files.

Same application error occurs with that login.
