Description Sébastien Villemot 2013-09-08 10:03:46 UTC
This is Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=494578

When someone lets GnuCash always open and running, pending scheduled transactions are not automatically created. Instead, the user should manually click the "Since last run…" button.

This is reasonable for a default behavior. But it would be useful to have a new option telling GnuCash to automatically create these pending transactions (or at least open a pop-up suggesting to do so). This check on pending transactions could be done daily.

Issues #638684 and #521285 discuss similar enhancements, but they were close without a clear statement that you don't want to implement such a feature. This is why I'm opening a new issue.

Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
