Description Marcos Mello 2013-09-04 13:00:28 UTC
I think have "Clear Recent History" as a "click once" (sorry, I am not an expert, do not know how it is called) button makes sense. User click on it then the button turns opaque and unclickable until the panel is reopened.

We'd need to monitor recent:/// to look for additions, whilst the dialogue was opened to make this work. Not sure it's worth the code.
Comment 2 Marcos Mello 2013-09-04 23:27:24 UTC
The feeling I have is that the button does not do anything (although it does).
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-06-09 16:11:42 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
