I found that when I activate the tool to "transform grid" GIMP, (direct
translation from Spanish)
I get an error message and closes automatically.
Do not know which may be due.

I think this bug is a duplicate of:

you can confirm it trying the workaround from the comment 7

That problem should be fixed in git, but since GEGL's last
release predates the fix, it is possible that on Windows it
is still alive.
