Hi, please don't bump the severity of a bugzilla ticket without a specific reason to do so. I'm not sure if we're going to accept a new list request for a software which is not maintained on git.gnome.org. Accepting all the projects that are based on glib/gtk+ on mail.gnome.org is probably something we don't want. (all the current lists are either core GNOME apps, projects hosted on git.gnome.org or administrative lists)
Well, I am not going to leave github with that project, it catches quite some developers which contribute once in a while. Either way, I did not see anything stating that a mailinglist has a prerequisite hosting the whole project at gnome.org. I bumped importance mainly due to the fact that this seems to be the only way to get some attention at all, and I just wanted to get things done quickly - lowered priority again.
Hi, At GNOME, we do not have the capacity to run a mailing list on request, but FedoraHosted does offer this service. You can request a "project" on Fedora Hosted at: https://fedorahosted.org/web/new. Just mark that you don't want SCM or trac, but only a mailing list. Sorry for not being able to help, and for the slow responses, we're just with the two of us. Patrick
Ok, closing this bug/request then - and thanks for the link! All the best
