When you add some program into favorites in Dash and then you remove it, its icon remains in Dash until you restart gnome-shell (e.g. with alt-f2 r). Its icon changes into "universal icon for apps without icons".

Force a reload of the favorite system, to pick apps that were
uninstalled.
