Fedora is currently shipping with a downstream change that renames session-properties.desktop to gnome-session-properties.desktop and I'd like to upstream that change.

The executable name is 'gnome-session-properties'. Keeping the executable name and the desktop file name the same makes it easier for DE's to track which executable matches with which desktop file.
