We've gotten some confused mails because the stuff in examples/* for GTK 2
is out of date. Some of it doesn't even compile.

It should be temporarily taken out of SUBDIRS probably, until it's actually
a good example.

Accompanying this would be to not distribute the tutorial,
since the examples are auto-extracted from the tutorial for
the most part.
