Attempting to delete a split from an auto-completed split transaction fails: Neither the delete toolbar button nor the delete split selection from the context menu have any effect.

Gtk-2.24.20.

The delete-split button works as expected on Fedora-18 with Gtk+-2.24.16

Update: This is the case only when the transaction is a new, auto-filled one which has not yet been committed, and that does reproduce on Fedora-18.
