GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 705652
Add GSettings for focus and caret tracking in GNOME Shell
Last modified: 2013-08-14 23:05:44 UTC
In order to be able to use the GNOME Shell magnifier with focus and caret tracking I would like to be able to independently set the focus to 'centered', 'push', 'proportional' and 'none'. These settings are available for mouse tracking that is used by the magnifier already, but having independent settings in place for the mouse, focus and caret would allow a magnification user the freedom to have a different setting for each one. See bug 647074 for more information.

Created attachment 251271 [details] [review] GSettings for focus and caret tracking in GNOME Shell Thank you for the review. I made it look a bit prettier and so I would like to update it now. Hope that is ok.

This seems to suggest that gnome-shell patches need to be merged first. But is this bug the one blocking bug 705652 (as that one will use this settings). Could you elaborate this comment? Thanks.
I think we should land this for 3.9.90, on the assumption that we'll also get the shell parts for 3.10.
Thanks guys. We will. :-)
