GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 70541
No ability to do "Download As..." when having disabled "Ask for destination"...
Last modified: 2003-11-02 13:46:30 UTC
I have "Ask for destination folder on each download" disabled, because in 98% of the cases I want to download into my specified directory. However, some times I want to download into another dir. With the current context menu I don't have that option. I think that there should be another option called "Download link as..." when that option is unchecked in preferences. Or perhaps it could be solved in a better way?
I dont think we should add another entry in the context menu because it's already bloated. Suggestions on other way to fix it would be welcome.
Another combo key? :P Shift+Ctl+click? It's not really better, but doesn't add to the context menu. I'll try to think of something different.

Is anyone bothered by these old bugs? I guess there's no real point of closing them, though. This is an issue still, as I am bothered by it now and then.
This is WONTFIX for galeon 1.3, the option to not ask about downloading every time is completly hidden, and you can always use file/save as
