Description Nicolas Dufresne (ndufresne) 2013-08-03 12:26:43 UTC
I have came across someone struggling with performance problem on an Atom laptop with Intel IGD. I don't know much about this driver, or if there is multiple flavour of it, but considering how bad the performance is (e.g. pressing win key takes 5 seconds before doing something, same for ALT-TAB) I would suggest to simply add it to /usr/share/gnome-session/hardware-compatibility (i.e. -Intel IGD). I have tested it and it's ok running llvmpipe.

Thanks Nicolas.
FWIW: It's a Lenovo Ideapad S10-3t, the MeeGo reference hardware.

The Lenovo Ideapad S10-3t gets abysmal performance using the
Intel IGD poulsbo driver.

Blacklist it and rely on the much better performing llvmpipe..
