Using the xsettings overrides:
http://git.gnome.org/gnome-settings-daemon/tree/plugins/xsettings/README.xsettings

override the default value of Gtk/EnablePrimaryPaste to match the people's fancy of easter eggs ;)

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
