Description David Juran 2013-08-01 12:16:04 UTC
Whenever one is browsing through a mailbox, evolution will scroll the mailbox back to the cursor as soon as evolution looses focus. I find this behavior highly annoying, I would much rather that the message list looked the way I left it when I revisit evolution after a two-second excursion to e.g. the browser.

I would therefore request that this behavior either is disabled or made configurable.

This behavior is specific to GNOME Shell (and by extension, Cinnamon). It does not do this if you're running XFCE, MATE or KDE. The Evolution code does not distinguish between desktop environments.

Details in bug 699603. I haven't had a chance to investigate further.
