Description Kai Hendry 2013-08-01 10:05:49 UTC
`sudo pacman -S gst-libav` was the solution. But I expected this 'avdec_h264' to be listed upon:

http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/plugins.html

curl -s http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/documentation/plugins.html | grep avdec_h264

The elements provided by gst-libav depend on the version and configure parameters used to compile libav. Your distribution should provide a codec installer that would automatically ask the user to install the appropiate packages.
