GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 705004
Missing characters: 'ș' 'ț' 'Ș' 'Ț'
Last modified: 2013-08-27 12:50:50 UTC
Created attachment 250276 [details] The archive contains both 'Cantarell-Regular' and 'Cantarell-Bold' with the added characters. The 4 above characters are frequently used in the Romanian language. The characters are missing from both files: 'Cantarell-Regular', 'Cantarell-Bold'. If it helps, we've created an patch to solve this problem and we would like to be merged upstream. The attachment contains both files with the added characters.
Thanks! Would it be possible to provide a software patch?

Comment on attachment 250295 [details] Sample of the fixed font. In blue color are already created caracters.
(In reply to comment #1) > Thanks! Would it be possible to provide a software patch? We don't know exactly how to do it. If someone would have the time to review those caracters (modify them if needed), and create a patch for them, it would be awesome. Originally the fix was designed for our private use. I've attached a archive that contains a sample with the added characters. We think we've managed to respect the font's standard. Again, if someone has time and can create a patch for those characters, please do so. We just want to see this problem fixed...
