Description quhaiyan.rs 2013-07-19 16:22:02 UTC
Upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04, the first thing I notice in EOG is that the Default resampling method of eog 3.4.2 (Ubuntu 12.04) is not good. The rendering is kind of coarse. When I zoom out of a JPEG photo, the image doesn't look smooth any more.
I suspect the default resampling method is nearest neighbor (for faster rendering speed), instead of bilinear... but there is no way to customize resampling method.

I also tried the preference->Image Enhancements->Smooth images when zoomed-out/in, but that makes no difference.

The default viewer of shotwell and gimp do not have this issue.

Thanks a lot!!
