Description Dmitry Burstein 2013-07-14 19:33:35 UTC
Trying to install the "Places Status Indicator" extension via the extensions.gnome.org site: the On/Off slider just goes Off all by itself after confirming the install. No related error reports I can find in .xsession-errors.
Have to mention I've migrated my home directory from the previous F18 install, so there might be some residual inconsistencies I'm not aware of.
Comment 1 Pascal Schott 2014-01-28 16:26:45 UTC
I have the same problem with fedora 20 (64 bits): the extension won't load, even if installed from the fedora repository and trying to use the 'Gnome Classic" mode.
'lg' shows up following error for this extension : "Error: Argument 'path' (type utf8) may not be null". On the extensions.gnome.org site, the extension appears with a red "ERROR" fla, without any further indication.
Comment 2 Alessandro Boselli 2016-04-26 22:16:43 UTC
I encounter the same problem on Debian 8 jessie 64-bit and Gnome 3.14.1 installed.
Exact same message in errors.
Comment 3 Florian Müllner 2016-04-26 22:26:39 UTC
This was fixed in 3.16.
