Description G. Michael Carter 2013-07-12 15:38:20 UTC
To change which monitor is the primary display (that is one with top bar) one needs to start running command line tools or modify XML files - according to things like http://blog.nachtarbeiter.net/2012/01/09/change-primary-monitor-in-gnome-3/ --

Really there should be a clear check box or way to do it from the display setting dialog box. (and if there currently is how?)
Comment 1 Giovanni Campagna 2013-07-12 15:43:06 UTC
Currently you can drag the black bar from the display panel in gnome-control-center, but see https://wiki.gnome.org/Design/SystemSettings/Displays for what might be implemented in 3.10.

This is probably a duplicate as well.
Comment 2 Thomas Wood 2013-09-03 10:19:50 UTC
The display panel has been re-designed for 3.10 and includes a "Primary" option for each display.
