Description Andy Campbell 2013-07-09 22:33:56 UTC
Background
For classical music, often tags used in music files are inconsistent, and the track or album name might not be enough to easily differentiate tracks.

It is common to use the "Composer" tag to differentiate tracks for example: http://www.blisshq.com/music-library-management-blog/2011/03/23/composers-performers-soloists-conductors/
http://nando.oui.com.br/2012/09/14/organizing_a_classical_music_collection.html

Please can you add support for the Composer Tag to Rhythmbox

I think these dialogs would need to be changed
Preferences / General / Browser Views
Preferences / General / Visible Columns
File Actions / Properties / Basic
Plus the main song browser pane

This would really help Classical music fans :O)

Thanks

Oops, sorry - I searched but somehow missed that bz. I'm really looking forward to seeing it when the new version reaches my distro (Fedora).

Thanks for the cool app!! :O)
