According to this bug [1] the desktop file has been dropped in newer aisleriot releases.

Anyway further investigations under ubuntu and aisleriot 3.6.2-0ubuntu1 shows no problem at all in launching two different games at the same time [2]

sol -v klondike &
sol --freecell &
sol -v klondike &
sol --freecell &


can this file be included again?

It's not 'missing', it simply has been removed.

Sorry Christian I know this has been removed.

I'm asking for a RE-inclusion.

Seems to be the reason for removal doesn't exist anymore.

It seems you're misreading the reasons for the removal, it's a policy decision,  not a technical problem as the launchpad bug seems to imply.

It's not coming back; but you can create your own desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications either manually or with a menu editor (alacarte).

I was reading
" * You can't run the games at the same time (as you would expect to)"

that bug is fixed.

For the other two I didn't think they were so important.

Anyway thanks for the answer
