Description Adam Williamson 2013-06-30 18:28:00 UTC
This was a problem in the early days of Shell and was fixed for a while, but lately I'm seeing it frequently again in GNOME Shell 3.6 and 3.8.

If you have a system with a wireless connection, and you suspend it, when you resume, the network indicator often gets stuck showing ... - the 'connecting' icon - even when the connection is entirely up and working. If you restart the shell (with alt-f2 + r), it shows the correct 'wireless connected signal strength' icon.
