GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 703323
don't highlight today's date in other months
Last modified: 2017-04-17 18:20:40 UTC
To see the problem: 1. Start gnome-calendar. 2. Go to the Month view. You'll see that today's date is highlighted (it has a blue line over it). 3. Press the right arrow to go to the next month. The day with the same number is still highlighted. This seems odd. I think we should only highlight today's date when we're viewing the current month.
I'm not so sure about this. It's useful for me. It provides me with some orientation. But that's just me. Let promote some discussion about this.
I agree that it can be useful. We might just change the color when not viewing the current month.

It's a good idea, but which colors should be used? AFAIK there is only the gnomish-blue color. Otherwise, we would have to hardcode a color in the CSS files.
