Window list not cleaned up when closing windows

Mac OS X Version 10.6.8
GnuCash version 2.4.13

Every dialog box ever opened during the session is listed in the Window list. Sometimes the "Abort" button won't close a dialog box so the Red "x" button in the corner is used to close it instead. It appears that the window is just hidden though and not really closed as it stays in the list. Clicking on items in the Windows list will bring back the dialog box that was supposed to have been closed.

This is mostly a duplicate of Big 698334, though there's also something going on with extra separators in the menu.

Please give some examples of "dialog boxes" (in many cases Gnucash uses GtkWindows instead of GtkDialogBoxes, which is why they show up in the Window menu) which don't close when you select "abort".

Found it: It's AQBanking's setup windows, which don't close when one clicks "close".

The problem with the windows menu is now fixed.

Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
