GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 703059
remove the bt-widget
Last modified: 2020-11-12 14:28:40 UTC
Created attachment 247739 [details] [review] bluetooth: remove unnecessary bt-widget Since NetworkManager will soon (see #701078) create the Bluetooth devices for PAN and DUN internally we don't need this code here anymore. It was used to do exactly this when you pair a device or open the bluetooth panel.

Well, we don't create them for DUN yet since we don't have the infrastructure to ask for the required APN and other stuff while starting the connection (which also will require client udpates). Once we have that infrastructure then we can remove the widget.
bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance. We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time. If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/ Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
