Description Sébastien Granjoux 2013-06-23 17:00:35 UTC
Currently a data target is created without any additional prefix and marked as distributed in the GUI. Anjuta adds the prefix nodist_ if you change the target property to not distribute it.

But automake doesn't distribute the data target by default. So you need to add the prefix dist_ to distribute them and remove it if you don't want.

By default the data target should be distributed, so Anjuta should to generate them with the prefix dist_.

I have committed a fix to consider data target as not distributed by default, like in automake. You can add a data target and mark it as distributed by checking the "Include in distribution" property.

Now, it would be probably better to mark new data targets as distributed by default. So, I need another improvement to close this bug.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/anjuta/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
