Last modified: 2013-06-20 22:17:52 UTC
**************** HOW TO REPRODUCE **************** - Go to the "Help / Help" menu. ********* BEHAVIOUR ********* - EXPECTED: A manual for the current GIMP's version to be shown. - REAL: The banner from the shown manual is for an old GIMP's version. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: gimp 2.8.4-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-21.32-generic 3.8.8 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-21-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu8 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu May 23 18:00:42 2013 InstallationDate: Installed on 2013-05-21 (2 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail" - Release amd64 (20130424) MarkForUpload: True ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gimp UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
The help is not included in the GIMP package, and packaging for a specific distro is handled by the distros themselves. What do you want us to do?
Why was this upstreamed from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gimp-help/+bug/1183431 ???
I think this bug has been reported upstream by mistake.
