Description Michael Meeks 2013-06-19 09:46:40 UTC
My corporate powers that be dictate that I rotate my pwd every six months. I did this while Evolution was running (it runs all the time). Eventually it re-connected to IMAP - and I got a password prompt (good).

However - sending mail via 'login' authenticated SMTP fails to prompt I get:

The reported error was "MAIL FROM command failed: Authentication required".

and of course, I can't send mail anymore.

"Forget passwords" is gone from the menus (which used to be the cure for this sort of thing), that is lame of course, but at least functional.

mcraha reports some manual seahorse / something else pain to go through :-)

HTH.

This should be fixed with bug #692904 and possibly partly by bug #705273, but the first it my highest bet. Please reopen, if you see it with that patch again. Thanks in advance.
