Search box persisting into firefox

When you start to type in nautilus, a search field pops up in the right bottom of nautilus.

If nautilus is open on top of another window (say firefox), and there is text in the search field, then if you switch to firefox by clicking on it (not alt-tabbing) the search box will persist. See attached screenshot.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

There are some changes in newer nautilus versions with relation to search. In particular, this pop up search field is no longer used in newer versions of nautilus.

Does it happen with any other application which uses those pop up search fields?

Nautilus doesn't use type ahead find anymore, so this is obsolete now.
