[GNOME Classic] Usability: Improve notification indicator behavior in bottom panel.

Currently the lower panel shows indiscriminately, "system icons" and "new notifications", which makes it very confusing to use. There are some applications (like dropbox or skype) always remain an icon in the system tray and the indicator mark so 2 notifications (so it seems) so it really is difficult to know whether or not a notification. This I solved using an extension (topicons), but it would be good idea to improve the default behavior of the indicator in the classic session.
How to solve it? IMO these applications should simply not always have an icon in the notifications area (as it's not a system tray). Same as for GNOME 2.
(In reply to comment #1) > IMO these applications should simply not always have an icon > in the notifications area Do you really believe that non-GNOME applications adopt the new behavior of the message box when other GNU/Linux environment is used (XFCE, Unity, KDE, cinnamon, etc.)? >(as it's not a system tray). if it's no a system tray: because those icons are displayed in a message box? -- In my humble opinion, I think the behavior legacy of some applications not change, and is more despite this, in the GNOME session (Modern) does not greatly influence, however, in GNOME classic in the bottom panel are displayed as "unread notifications "and that's the problem. I think one possible solution is not indicated as "unread notifications" to applications staying in a message box (behavior legacy) or include the extension "topicons" to the GNOME session classic.
