Description Moltres_rider 2013-05-31 16:15:55 UTC
I linked several layers and selected the 'alignment tool' and tried to align all the layers to the bottom of the image, only the active layer aligns using the alignment tool!! all other layers stay put!!
Comment 1 Moltres_rider 2013-05-31 16:25:38 UTC
same issue occurs with the 'scale' tool
Comment 2 Michael Schumacher 2013-05-31 17:04:21 UTC
Works fine for me with the scale tool. and the align tool lets you select the layers you want to align by itself.
Comment 3 Moltres_rider 2013-05-31 17:13:29 UTC
no, scale tool DOES NOT work with me!! only the active layer will scale!!
Comment 4 Michael Schumacher 2013-05-31 17:27:48 UTC
The preview, yes. But the actual scale scales the linked layers for me.

If it doesn't for you, then please provide a description of what you do.
Comment 5 Moltres_rider 2013-05-31 18:05:25 UTC
ok, so this is a 'preview bug' not a bug that it won't scale linked layers... the preview doesn't show, I just tested it out and both layers indeed scale... so the title of this bug needs to be changed to 'previewing doesn't work on linked layers when using the scale tool'

I assumed that only the active layer would scale because that's what the preview showed...

the bug changed entirely to a preview related bug..... so this is a different bug then what I originally posted...
