GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 701321
Gtkmm windows installer is not maintained?
Last modified: 2013-06-06 10:38:14 UTC
I have been using with great satisfaction the windows Gtkmm installer for past projects: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/binaries/win32/gtkmm/ I have been experiencing large difficulties since I started using mingw >= 4.7. As far as I have understood (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11441364/hello-world-program-crashes-in-gtkmm), it seems that the dlls need to be recompiled for mingw >= 4.7 compatibility... This makes it quite a lot harder to build gtkmm application on windows as developers will have to individually build gtkmm (which I did not succeed to do yet...:() I have contacted the maintainer of the installer (Armin Burgmeier), but did not get any answer (yet). Is the package still officially maintained ?
In general, there are no new gtkmm binaries for Windows because there are not yet any new GTK+ binaries for Windows. See bug #697835 . *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 697835 ***
