Hi Derek;

I am still having problems in setting up the account.

I set up a simple account right off the bat I went screwy.

set up the acct initially with $1000,did nothing else, yet wound up with $2000 for investment. Is this possible?
attached should be 5 snapshots of Gnucash stuff.

Can you test this? setup a account with $1000 and see what you get?

p.s. how come when I do options > display and uncheck "omit zero balance fiqures" it is valid for that instance only?

Is this beyond me?

 .....thanks  .... joe

Hi Joe,

this bug appears to me being a duplicate of bug 603183.
Do you agree?

If not, can you add some more details what makes up the difference?

Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
