Steps to reproduce:
1. Open new instance of gedit Text Editor
2. Access menu: View | Highlight Mode | Sources

Notice that on first access the Sources sub-menu lacks Up/Down mouse roll buttons. Dismiss menu and try again to see that Up/Down mouse roll buttons are now present.
