GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 701031
A notification should be shown below when going to battery mode from AC
Last modified: 2014-04-28 13:58:14 UTC
Since I am using Gnome3, there have been a lot of times that my AC plug has disconnected and I haven't noticed it until I have seen battery icon was pretty low. I think that a notification should be shown to inform me when AC plug is disconnected
Not sure I agree that a notification should be shown in that case (bringing in the design team for comments), but in any case this would be done by gnome-settings-daemon's power plugin ...
I don't think the design team want a notification, sorry.
What about a different icon? Current icon for "connected" is too dark to clearly see differences when the disconnected one
I would then reopen this bug and reassign to icon maintainers... but looks like I don't have enough permissions :S
