The tilde over glyphs such as Ã, Ñ, ã, ñ is visibly misplaced: the tilde is not positioned exactly in the center of the letter, leaning towards the right in different amounts, looking inconsistent. This mainly affects languages such as Portuguese and Spanish.

Denis has been working on creating a GPOS table for all accents to address this.
