I can't find Banshee in Unity Dash if I search for "music, audio, mp3, video, movie, film .......... etc.". These keywords should be added.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.

Daniel, Chow, the patch the word "Series", I guess that means that the word "Serie" is not included? If yes, should we correct it by adding the singular version, or would replacing the plural with the singular suffice? If it doesn't suffice, it would be a shame because "Videos" would not be included either...
Comment 5 Chow Loong Jin 2013-09-12 23:35:10 UTC
I don't think the word "serie" exists. The singular form of series is still series.
Comment 6 Daniel Mustieles 2013-09-13 08:45:57 UTC
I think Series is correct...
Comment 7 Andrés G. Aragoneses (IRC: knocte) 2013-09-13 09:32:57 UTC
Ah alright, thanks, and what about my more generic question about plurals? Would "Videos" yield banshee as a result currently? Does the search work with full words only?
Comment 8 Chow Loong Jin 2013-09-13 09:37:52 UTC
Nope, substring searches work. But since it's an incremental search, users will most probably see their result even before typing the full plural form. Not sure about other languages though.

For reference, Totem's keyword field is: Keywords=Video;Movie;Film;Clip;Series;Player;DVD;TV;Disc;

Er Keywords field, I mean.
