Description Tuomas Kuosmanen 2013-05-16 09:48:53 UTC
Requirements: a wacom tablet (mine is Intuos5 Touch M) and two monitors.

1. open Wacom config in Settings.
2. set "Left-Handed Orientation" to ON.
3. flip tablet around so the keys are on the right, see that coordinates
get mapped correctly and the cursor moves as expected.
4. open "Map to Monitor..." and check the "map to single monitor"
to map the tablet into one screen

At this point my "left hand orientation" appears to reset, and everything turns reversed (left-right, up-down). This can be fixed by going back to the main wacom config screen and toggling "left handed orientation" off and back on. If I touch the monitor mapping settings with "left hand orientation" on, it gets screwed up again and I need to toggle the left hand mode once more to fix it.

Notably, this messing-up happens *only* if I touch "monitor mapping" from Settings. I can assign "Switch Monitor" to a wacom function key, and switching monitor via the defined key works just fine.

wacom: Fix discrepancy when switching monitors from g-c-c

The rotation was being set directly from g-c-c when switching
monitors but g-s-d already does this when the display is set to
the tablet. This resulted in a discrepancy between setting the
monitor from g-c-c or from g-s-d when the left-handed mode was on.
