Description Sai Suman Prayaga 2013-05-16 08:51:47 UTC
Created attachment 244379 [details]
The attachment shows a screenshot of loadmore with spinner but the artists not being loaded.

In the artists view Loadmore button is not able to load the last chunk of artists. It should be able to load all the artists and the loadmore should hide after loading artists.

I can't reproduce this, but this happens to me too in the Albums view and the right pane of Artists view (All Artists) before. What I did is to clean up the tracker journal, and the problem was gone.

So this is possibly a tracker issue.
Comment 2 Vadim Rutkovsky 2013-08-27 13:07:08 UTC
'tracker-control -r' also worked for me. Not sure what was the original error, but its definitely tracker's fault

query: Add filters to the count queries

This makes sure that the correct number of items are returned by the
count queries if some of the albums or artists are unavailable.
Comment 4 Arnel Borja 2013-08-31 11:05:16 UTC
I just got this problem again today after removing some of my songs. Seems like tracker usually don't return items that are unavailable, so this is quite hard to reproduce.
Comment 5 Vadim Rutkovsky 2013-09-02 10:47:41 UTC
Didn't work for me ('tracker-control -r' doesn't help either now)

Hm, maybe it is because the count queries don't have DISTINCT.

I also attempted to run 'tracker-control -r' and then 'tracker-control -s' but the issue didn't go away.

Fixed in https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-music/commit/?id=6e853e017e793a63061a66dd0c42d37cd6e31dea via removing 'Load More' from artists list
