When Gedit application is running and the fullscreen option (F11) is used for the first time, then a quarter of the Gedit's taskbar is shown on the screen and covers the first written row of the document.

Please find the attached picture for this defect.

I confirm, when running the fullscreen for the first time, there is a gray area at the top, hiding the first line of text.

Thanks for the patch. It is indeed better to show_all() before get_size().
I've just fixed the indentation (a tabulation instead of spaces).
